Information LabelRoot handles

The LabelRoot website may process account details you provide, product information you create or publish, billing status from our payment provider, product-page scans and tracked call-to-action clicks, support messages, and technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and timestamps.

The public LabelRoot plugins and connectors for ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, and other compatible clients receive the UPC, EAN, or GTIN supplied to a tool and the technical request metadata needed to return and secure the response. They return public LabelRoot product information. They do not request or store AI conversation history, files, memories, account data, health data, or payment information.

How information is used

We use information to provide and secure LabelRoot, validate product identifiers, resolve published product pages, operate accounts and subscriptions, measure service reliability and aggregate product-page activity, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

LabelRoot does not sell personal information. Connector tool inputs are not used to train an AI model or to build advertising profiles.

Service providers and third parties

LabelRoot uses service providers for cloud hosting and delivery, authentication, billing, product analytics, website analytics, and customer support. These providers process information only for the services they supply to LabelRoot and under their own contractual and privacy obligations.

The public connector calls LabelRoot's own first-party API and does not proxy an unrelated third-party database. Public product pages may contain an outbound link chosen by the publishing account; following it takes you to that third party's service and privacy policy.

Retention

LabelRoot does not persist plugin or connector prompts or tool inputs in its application database. Infrastructure providers may temporarily process request metadata for delivery, reliability, and security under their configured retention controls.

Account, billing, and product records are kept while an account or published product is active and as needed for legitimate business, security, legal, and continuity purposes. Website and product analytics are retained in aggregate or provider-managed systems for as long as they remain useful for those purposes. You may request deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. You can stop using a LabelRoot plugin or connector at any time by disconnecting or uninstalling it in the client where you added it. Browser privacy controls and supported opt-out mechanisms can limit website analytics where applicable.
